SDK Enhancements
Docker Images
CAD Exchanger SDK now offers Docker images, which come with preconfigured environments for C++, C#, Java and Python, allowing the users to easily set up and run CAD Exchanger SDK in the preferred environment.
This new feature saves time and effort by eliminating the need for manual environment setup and configuration, and is distributed on demand. By contacting technical support, the user will receive a link to an archive with detailed instructions.
Updated Documentation
The CAD Exchanger team has made major changes in the documentation to enhance the user experience and provide developers with better resources.
A significant updats is the public Manufacturing Toolkit documentation. The tool is a set of application programming interfaces designed to enhance manufacturing workflows and automate manufacturing costs estimations.

Expanded API
CAD Exchanger team expanded an API to control the consumption of imports and exports during the trial period. Now there is added the notification, which will be received by any user who has exceeded the evaluation license usage limit and needs to make a purchase.
Enhanced Visualization
In this release, in CAD Exchanger was added an API for creating distance measurements between B-rep shapes in the Web Toolkit. Additionally, the team included the ‘Eyeshot Conversion’ example in the SDK examples gallery, showcasing integration with Eyeshot.
Support of Autodesk Inventor 2022
This time, there is support of the Autodesk Inventor 2022 version with preserving all the basic data: B-rep geometry, colors, names, and assembly structure. One feature of this new version is Model States. Currently, there is ability to import data only for an active configuration. The import of Autodesk Inventor 2022 models with Model States may be unstable.
Import of Properties from CATIA
Starting with this release, users can import product and mechanical properties from CATIA files. Additionally, there is the flexibility to add custom properties, tailoring data to meet your specific needs.
Format Improvements
CAD Exchanger team made it a priority to enhance CAD Exchanger's capabilities specifically in MCAD file formats. In addition to the improvements mentioned, updates include 3D PDF, DXF, DWG, glTF, NX, SOLIDWORKS and STEP fixes.
