Noesis Solutions NV, developer of software solutions for process integration and design optimization, makes available Optimus 2021.1. The latest release offers features that are built to simplify the integration of engineering processes in simulation departments, the company reports.
In addition, Noesis Solutions is releasing id8 2021.1. This engineering collaboration platform offers capabilities on the execution of simulation and analysis tasks.
Optimus: Create Faster Workflows
Optimus is interfacing with many CAD and CAE third-party software and enables users to integrate complex engineering processes in an intuitive environment. The new version of Optimus is introducing a tool that allows the user, with a few clicks, to configure faster the interfaces to the third-party software and make them available on the spot.
The new interface configuration tool provides possibilities for the configuration of the third-party software interface. Users can perform an Automatic configuration, to configure all the interfaces installed at your computer with minimum user intervention or Guided configuration, where users need to select the third-party software and the versions of interest. Additionally, a user can Import installation settings, to replicate a previous configuration with a single click.
Together with the new tool to configure interfaces to third-party software, the process integration in Optimus becomes better by supporting the latest versions of third-party software such as Abaqus R2021 and Ansys 2021R1, Cradle Cradle sc/Tetra, scFLOW, scStream v2021 and Romax Nexus R20.
id8 Simplifies Simulation & Analysis
Noesis introduced id8 recently, as an engineering collaborative platform that is offering capabilities and act as a portal for engineers, designers and analysts to perform complex engineering tasks in a simple way.
The id8 2021.1 version is introducing a module as part of the id8 Execution application. The new module is called Launch and the user can submit any type of nominal simulation runs through id8. Using id8, users can save time by submitting simulations on different machines, locally or remotely, and retrieve results with a single click.
At the end of the computation, the user retrieves the results of the simulation via the web browser, regardless the location where the simulation took place. The output files can be used further in id8 Execution to create new projects based on workflow “best practices” templates.
