NAFEMS Americas Preliminary Agenda Now Out

NAFEMS Americas will host its biennial regional conference, formerly known as CAASE, on June 21-23, 2022, face-to-face, in Indianapolis, IN. The organization has released its preliminary agenda.

 

Keynote Presentations

  • Jill Steffek of Oshkosh will talk on “Incorporating STEM, Diversity, and A New Role: Managing a Team of Simulation Experts.
  • Vladimir Balabanov of Boeing will address, “Optimization, Machine Learning, & Digital Thread in Structures: Perspective from Boeing.
  • Darrell Meffert of Caterpillar will discuss, “Changing a Product Development Culture from “Test Focused” to “Simulation-Led” - Sharing the Keys to Caterpillar’s Success in Achieving This Change.”
  • Amol Vaidya of Owens Corning will present on, “Digital Innovation for Sustainable Future: Simulation Capabilities to Drive Growth.”
  • Chris Davey of Ford Motor will focus on, “Connected and Data Driven - Model Based Systems Engineering, Simulation and System Adaptation.”
  • Steven R. Wellborn of Rolls-Royce is speaking on “Practical Implementation of Digital Twins for Today and Tomorrow.”

Presentations at the event will be centered around four key themes:

  1. Simulation-Driven Design (...of Physical Systems, Components & Products)
  2. Implementing Simulation Governance
  3. Advancing Manufacturing Processes & Additive Manufacturing
  4. Addressing Business Strategies, Challenges & Advanced Technologies

The NAFEMS Americas Regional Conference 2022 (NRC22 Americas) will bring together the leading visionaries, developers and practitioners of computer-aided engineering-related technologies in an open forum to share experiences, discuss relevant trends, discover common themes and explore future issues, including:
