ASSESS Initiative announces that Troy Peterson of System Strategy, Inc. (SSI) will be a keynote speaker for the upcoming ASSESS 2022 Congress, to be held at The Georgian Terrace, in Atlanta, GA May 1-3, 2022. Mr. Peterson was the driving force behind the MBSE transformation at INCOSE. Troy Peterson’s keynote presentation’s title is “Digital Engineering and MBSE: Challenges, Opportunities, and Imperatives.”
“Systems engineering has been undergoing a transformation to Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE),” says Troy Peterson, vice president at SSI. “This transformation is at the core of the broader digital transformation and offers organizations significant value. Fundamental to delivering this value is the coupling of MBSE, systems analysis and the field of simulation.
Peterson was a Booz Allen Fellow and the firm’s chief systems engineer responsible for instituting capabilities to manage complexity, engineer resiliency and speed innovation, a lead manufacturing engineering at Ford Motor Company and an entrepreneur operating a design and management consulting business. He has led several international projects and large teams in the delivery of complex systems. His experience spans commercial government and academic environments across all product life cycle phases.
“We are very honored and excited to have Troy Peterson present at our Congress,” says Joe Walsh, CEO and co-founder of the ASSESS Initiative. “Troy was one of the early pioneers to recognize the need for and benefit of MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering).”
